Ah, June. Peonies usually bloom the first or second week, and we hold them in our cooler the whole month - some can even still be had in July! Wildflowers are still putting out lots of color, along with our flowering trees. Snapdragons and perennial scabiosa appear, along with delicate nigella and didiscus, plus alliums, stock, and yarrow. Toward the end of June the annual flowers ramp up, and we will see our first zinnias.
