Lauren asked for wild, refined-rustic, and whimsical flowers, with both bright and deep jewel tones to complement her stunning but understated gold dress and her bridesmaids’ teal gowns. We used button and larger dahlias, purple statice, gomphrena, yarrow foliage, snapdragons, calendula, and cupcake zinnias to get the right combination of elegant and rustic. We made a super cute hair comb and loose flowers to extend the look of the comb, with roses, dusty miller, and myrtle. Her fiancé is a brewer, so we included fresh green hops, wheat, and strawflower in the boutonnières, wrapping them with gold wire to match the dress. We made adorable clusters of bud vases on tree slices for her tables, and they sparkled in the September sun!
